  • Director of Psychological Health
    • The Director of Psychological Health (DPH) provides services for returning deployed National Guard (NG) members and their families specific to addressing mental health needs. The DPH will ensure comprehensive service provision to resolve a continuum of mental health concerns that adversely impacts mission readiness. Services are tailored to the mental health needs of NG service members through combinations of mental health resource identification, communication of applicable benefits and counseling services.
    • The DPH will also assist NG program managers and supervisors with improving readjustment to civilian life. Consultation and support is provided to address organizational and individual health care situations that impede mission readiness. Briefings are also provided throughout the full spectrum of the deployment cycle to address mental health issues.
  • Other Services
    • Providing help to address full range of personal, emotional and behavioral problems as a result of deployment and any other stressors.
    • Supporting individuals for personal readiness and referring those who experience TBI and PTSD.
    • Ensuring confidentiality, privacy compliant with state and federal laws and guidelines.
    • Maintaining and improving National Guard member productivity.
    • Ensuring the Psychological Health Program is part of a comprehensive warrior support network.
  • Military Family Life Consultants
    • Provide non-medical short-term, situational problem-solving counseling to Service Members and their families. Provides psycho-education to help Service Members and their families understand the impact of stress, deployments, family reunions following deployment, and the stresses of military life.
    • MFLC services augment existing military support services. Services can be provided on or off military installations, and available to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
    • The Children’s Support Program addresses the impact of military life on children.
    • Disclaimer: MFLCs are mandated reporters of child abuse, domestic violence, and other duty-to-warn issues. Services are otherwise confidential and private, except for duty-to-warn situations.
